Main duties of the job Deputy Head of PTS - Operations Lead and motivate diverse, multidisciplinary teams, promoting a culture of inclusivity and professional growth, demonstrating compassionate leadership. Work collaboratively with the NEPTS planning and distribution team in the NWAS Integrated Contact Centre (ICC) to meet contractual and performance standards. Champion quality improvement and ensure compliance with legislative and infection control standards. Act as a visible leader, communicating effectively with staff, trade unions, and external stakeholders. Support workforce planning, performance management, and leadership development initiatives. Contribute to service delivery policies, business continuity plans, and future commissioning strategies. About us North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust provides 24 hour, 365 days a year accident and emergency services to those in need of emergency medical treatment and transport.
