What is it?
A paid school placement designed to give you real classroom experience — with zero upfront commitment to teacher training. It’s a flexible, supportive way to see if teaching is right for you.
Roles and Responsibilities
As part of your placement, you’ll be fully involved in the day-to-day life of a primary school, including:
✔️ Supporting teachers in the delivery of lessons
✔️ Working 1:1 or in small groups with pupils to help them achieve their learning goals
✔️ Assisting with classroom preparation and resource management
✔️ Helping manage classroom behaviour and promoting a positive learning environment
✔️ Taking part in school events, staff meetings and CPD training
✔️ Observing lessons to develop your own teaching style
✔️ Supporting children with special educational needs (SEN)
✔️ Being a positive role model for young learners every day

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
