Financial Analyst
We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join the team! As a Financial Analyst you will be responsible for the analysis of business performance for Sysmex Ireland, partnering key stakeholders within the organisation to aid forward planning and ensuring the financials fairly represents business activity.
Key month-end responsibilities for this role will be to report to Group on the forecast P&L on time and quality, providing insight into key performance drivers and ensuring assigned Balance Sheet accounts are fully reconciled with high quality supporting schedules. Also to support with Sysmex UK reporting where needed, particularly on overheads.
The successful candidate will oversee the MSC Billing function, supporting them in ensuring customers are invoiced correctly and in a prompt manner, and that the 3rd party partner supply chain is effectively managed. Guidance around month-end deliverables also.
Instrument billing will be a process the successful applicant will be a key part of, reviewing all sales documentation relating to analyser sales to ensure they are accounted for correctly under IFRS prior to processing.
Other key deliverables will be to construct the annual budget for Sysmex Ireland, ensuring adherence to internal controls (J-SOX) and leading the preparation of supporting schedules to auditors for your assigned areas.

1. Responsible for the production and delivery of monthly accounts and supporting papers
2. Playing a key role in supporting the delivery of our annual audit
3. Responsible for the monthly company forecast, and liaising with Group on matters arising
4. Develop, streamline and enhance financial management and reporting processes
5. Provide timely and robust financial analysis
6. Play a key role in the annual budgeting process and consolidate the company budget picture
7. Ensure internal controls and systems are effective and efficient, reviewing current systems to determine areas of continual improvement
8. Billing/Cost Recognition and the preparation of contract summary packs
Your profile
Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
Advanced level Excel user & competent with PowerPoint
