JOB PURPOSE The Security Senior Manager is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive security strategies to safeguard the company's assets, employees, and operations. This role ensures a secure environment and culture by managing security operations, conducting risk assessments, and coordinating crisis management efforts. RESPONSIBILITIES Develop Security Policies : Create and enforce security policies and procedures to protect company assets and ensure employee safety. Risk Assessment : Conduct regular risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential security threats and vulnerabilities. Crisis Management : Develop and oversee crisis management plans, including disaster recovery, evacuation, and emergency response. Security Operations Management : Oversee daily security operations, manage security personnel, and coordinate with law enforcement agencies. Training and Development : Provide training programs for security staff to ensure preparedness and competence in handling security issues. Compliance : Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal security regulations and standards. Technology Implementation : Implement and manage security technologies such as surveillance systems, access control, and alarm systems. ALL ABOUT YOU Education : Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred. Experience : Relevant experience in security management in a senior management role. Certifications : Relevant certifications such as Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Physical Security Professional (PSP) are highly desirable. Proven track record leading Security for a similar size company is required. Industry Knowledge : Experience in the FMCG sector, particularly in the food industry, is a plus. SKILLS : Leadership : Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate a team of security professionals. Analytical Skills : Ability to analyze security data and trends to make informed decisions. Communication : Excellent communication skills to effectively convey security policies and procedures to staff and stakeholders. Technical Knowledge : Proficiency in security technologies and systems, including surveillance, access control, and intrusion detection. Crisis Management : Skills in crisis management and emergency response planning. Compliance Knowledge : Understanding of relevant security regulations and standards. Location In 2020, Unilever announced the intention to build a new sustainable campus site in Kingston, London to house the employees who currently work in 100 Victoria Embankment in Blackfriars ("100VE"), Lever House in Kingston and Graze in Richmond, the build is due to be complete in early 2025. Most recently, in August 2024, we announced our intention to retain our premises in 100VE until our lease expires in 2027. We are due to consult with our existing workforce on the new proposal to retain 100VE for the duration of our lease. Therefore, until such a time consultation has concluded as to the retention of our 100VE office, this role will be based in 100 Victoria Embankment until early 2025 and then will move to the Kingston Campus.
