Teacher Responsibilities • Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons that cater to the diverse needs of Year 1 students. • Implement appropriate teaching strategies to engage and inspire students. • Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and setting targets for improvement. • Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and share best practices. • Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respectful behaviour and positive relationships. • Communicate effectively with parents/guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns. • Participate in staff meetings, professional development workshops, and other school activities as required. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field. • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. • Proven experience teaching Year 1 students in a primary school setting. • Excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment methods. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of individual learners. • Dedication to ongoing professional development and a commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest educational practices. • Flexibility and adaptability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
