A resilient and committed Children's Residential Support Worker (RSW) is needed to join the team at Diverse Children Homes Ltd, a brand new children's home. The home will cater for three young people aged from 11-18.

Shift Pattern:
* 40 hours per week (Full-time), 20 hours per week (Part-time).
* You will be required to work weekends and holidays
* Overtime (When needed/Short-staffed)
* The shift pattern is:
* AM - 7am to 3pm
* PM - 2pm - 7am (the next day) (Sleep in is from 11pm - 7am)
* Shift Lead - 10am to 10:30am (next day) (Sleep in is from 11pm - 7am)

What do you need?
* A Full UK Drivers Licence.
* NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care Children’s, or the equivalent.
* Previous Residential Support Worker experience or experience within the care field.
* The willingness to undertake the NVQ Level 3.
Duties include:
* Supporting young people by encouraging education, fostering independence, and taking care of their health and welfare.
* Upholding a secure atmosphere and environment for the young people.
* Supporting challenging behaviour safely and sympathetically by following OHCH policies.
* Deter difficult behaviour while maintaining safety, compassion, and adherence to OHCH principles.
* Developing and maintaining good working relationships with the team, parents, social workers, and other professionals involved in the young people’s lives.
* Building and developing good positive relationships with the young people.
* Encouraging and involving young people in activities and new experiences to enrich their lives.
* Following and writing care plans and risk assessments, completing essential job tasks, attending team meetings, and adhering to the home's policies and procedures as ordered by the registered manager or deputy manager.
* Undertaking everyday parenting responsibilities, such as domestic chores, cooking, shopping, and taking young people to appointments/meetings.
* Supporting young people in their personal development and gaining vital life skills for future independent living.
