We are looking for a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Hotel Receptionist to join our team at Montogo Resorts Somerset at Charlton House. As the first point of contact for guests, you will play a vital role in ensuring a positive guest experience from check-in to check-out.
Key Responsibilities:
* Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a warm and professional manner.
* Manage check-ins and check-outs efficiently, ensuring guest satisfaction.
* Answer phones and emails to address guest inquiries, reservations, and requests.
* Handle bookings and reservations, ensuring accurate data entry and availability management.
* Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and assist with guest needs.
* Handle payment transactions, including cash, credit card, and invoicing.
* Resolve guest complaints and issues promptly and professionally.
* Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure rooms are ready for guests.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Hotel Receptionist or in a similar customer service role.
* Strong communication skills and ability to multitask.
* Proficiency in hotel management softwareand MS Office Suite.
* Fluent in Englishadditional language skills are a plus.
* Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
* Friendly and professional demeanor with excellent customer service skills.
* Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
