We have a fantastic new opportunity as a Strategic Organisational Development Lead (OD Lead) in our People and Change Team. As a Strategic OD Lead, youll lead transformative cultural change that will have a direct impact on both colleagues and customers. Youll play a vital role in supporting the director-level Change Board, enabling effective prioritisation, resourcing and delivery of the Everyday Better Change programme. The Strategic OD lead is an agile role, We embrace flexible working arrangements, understanding and valuing the advantages it brings. At the same time, we expect the Strategic OD Lead to spend regular time in our offices in Grimsby and Boston and within our neighbourhoods. This is essential for building relationships, supporting teams and maintaining visibility across the organisation. What are the key responsibilities as a Strategic OD Lead? Senior Leadership: Be an active member of the Leadership Team, contributing to organisational performance, financial oversight and policy development, with opportunities to contribute to other governance forums. Culture & Leadership Development: Oversee culture change programmes that enhance engagement, inclusion and accountability. Embedding our new values and behaviours and empowering our people to support our customers. Learning & Development: Lead a holistic learning and development approach, ensuring leadership, management and all colleagues have access to the right development opportunities. Change Readiness & Engagement: Work with the Strategic Change Lead to ensure leadership and teams are change-ready, developing OD interventions that increase resilience and adaptability. Measurement & Continuous Improvement: Establish culture and leadership metrics, using data to track impact and continuously improve interventions. Team management: Lead, motivate and manage a high-performing change team, ensuring clarity on priorities and fostering collaboration and innovation Place-based strategies and neighbourhood hubs: As part of a corporate leadership role, support the development and implementation of place-based strategies that align with local priorities and community needs For a full list of responsibilities please download the job description What skills, attributes, and knowledge are essential as a Strategic OD Lead? Significant experience in organisational development, culture change or leadership development. Track record of delivering organisational culture change, working at a strategic level. Strong understanding of leadership development, learning strategies and behaviour change. Experience of leading cross-functional teams and embedding values-led leadership approaches. Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build trust at all levels. Extensive experience in coaching, organisational development or change leadership.
