Job Purpose:
Lucideon have recently moved to a state-of-the-art facility based in Stone, Staffordshire, which offers a brilliant working environment and has enabled significant investment for growth. As a Microbiology Technician, you would be working in a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) accredited pharmaceutical Quality Control (QC) microbiology testing laboratory, working predominantly on pharmaceutical projects such as batch release testing, ensuring that the products that are sold to the end-users are fit for use.
Due to the breadth of customers we support, we not only perform routine testing, but offer a wide variety of tests under one roof, which you would have the rare opportunity to train in and grow your skillset.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Utilising lab skills and ensuring general lab house-keeping is performed.
2. Performing routine testing, including:
1. Microbial limit testing
2. Water testing
3. Preservative efficacy testing (PET)
4. Endotoxin testing
5. Sterility testing
Key Person Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Biological sciences or similar.
2. Relevant experience in a laboratory setting is desirable.
