An outstanding new job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Home Manager to manage an exceptional care home based in the Lowestoft, Suffolk area. You will be working for one of the UK's leading health care providers.
This care home is registered with the CQC to treat complex needs, which only qualified nurses are allowed to provide. The home provides exceptional residential, nursing, and dementia care in the heart of the area's residential community.
To be considered for this position, you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin and previous experience managing a nursing home.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage staff and resources so that each resident can enjoy a dignified and fulfilling life.
2. Work closely with your Clinical Lead and the wider healthcare and hospitality teams to ensure the quality of individual service and care consistently meets high standards and those of our external regulators.
3. Report to the regional Operations Manager, creating and leading a vision for the home to ensure a philosophy of continuous improvement, encouraging and supporting the home's journey to 'outstanding.'
4. Manage people and processes while liaising closely with residents, their families, professional contacts, and multi-disciplinary teams.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
1. Ability to deliver outstanding care for our residents.
2. In-depth understanding of the legal requirements such as Health and Social Care Act, CQC regulations, KLOEs, and rating characteristics.
3. Hold a full UK driving licence.
4. Very well organized.
5. Lead by example.
6. Goes the extra mile for residents and staff.
The successful Home Manager will receive an amazing salary of GBP65,000 per annum. This exciting position is a permanent full-time role for 40 hours a week, from 9 am to 5 pm. In return for your hard work and commitment, you will receive the following generous benefits:
