As a Health Visitor within the Healthy Child Service, you will be working directly with families to help support the social, emotional, physical and intellectual wellbeing of children, from pregnancy to 5 years. Working in partnership with the Health & Children’s Centre Manager you will support in leading the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme 0-5 (HCP) helping plan and review service delivery to ensure it is high quality and delivers outcomes for children.

4. Lowestoft and Waveney
Your role and responsibilities
You will:
- lead delivery of the Healthy Child Programme for ages 0-5
- conduct assessments and care planning
- evaluate outcomes and support service improvement
- champion health promotion and reduce inequalities
- provide universal health reviews and targeted support to families
- maintain NMC registration and work to The Code
- safeguard children through collaboration and assessments
- be the key contact and case holder for families.
You will need:
- Qualification as a Health Visitor or nearing completion
- NMC registration as a qualified nurse, midwife or allied health professional
- passion for supporting children, families and public health
- strong communication, interpersonal and listening abilities
