Job Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Pain, Anaesthetics, Critical Care and Theatres (PACCT) service team.
* To undertake coordination of PACCT clinics.
* Ensure all clinic admin is completed and undertaken in a timely manner.
* First line of enquiry for PACCT clinic appointments.
Main Duties of the Job
An up-to-date knowledge of outpatient clinics will be required to enable the post-holder to make, amend, and cancel appointments. The role will range from handling GP and patient queries and enquiries about clinics, making appointments using the Myrddin Patient Administration System, and using direct and partial booked appointments. The main duties will include answering telephone calls, making calls, taking general enquiries, booking appointments in line with Partial Booking Policy, and monitoring.

Experience
Essential Criteria
* Experience of working within an NHS or healthcare environment. Ability to accurately and efficiently input and retrieve information on a computerised system whilst adhering to complex local and national policies and guidelines.
Desirable Criteria
* Experience in a similar role/environment.
* NHS Experience.
Qualifications and/or Knowledge
Essential Criteria
* Good standard of GCSE/NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Business/Administration, OR equivalent demonstrable experience.
* High level of keyboard/computer skills.
* Knowledge of good understanding of software programmes.
