Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Aseptic Pharmacy team working in our new bespoke Aseptic Hub. This is an interesting time to join the team as they embark on a new chapter in the new facilities providing ready to administer medicines in the form of systemic anti-cancer treatments, intravenous additives, parenteral nutrition and a small number of gene therapy medicines. We are looking for an enthusiastic, registered professional who is keen to develop their managerial and leadership skills. The post holder will be responsible for the pharmacy services provision. They will be expected to provide expert pharmacy technical advice related to the services at the Adanac Aseptic Hub. You will lead and develop a skilled team of pharmacists, technicians and supporting staff ensuring high standards of patient care and regulatory compliance in the supply of quality aseptically manufactured medicinal products. The position offers the opportunity to collaborate with quality assurance and training teams, clinical colleagues and to both internal and external customers. You will be supported and managed through a close working relationship with the Deputy Head of Production and will liaise closely with the Head of Production and Head of Quality Assurance.
