Senior Physiotherapist Derby | Hospital | Permanent | Full Time Up to £41,500 per annum Our Physiotherapy team at Nuffield Health Derby are seeking Senior Physiotherapists to join the team on a 37.5 hour per week contract. As part of the team you will have clinical support available from your Regional Clinical Lead along with other Senior Physiotherapists, with leadership from the management team on site. The Role Predominantly based in outpatients, you will see a wide range of outpatient musculoskeletal conditions and post-operative cases, playing a key role in helping our patients achieve, maintain and recover to the level of health and wellbeing that they aspire to. You will also spend time on our ward guiding post-operative orthopaedic, breast and gynaecological type patients through to a safe discharge home. You will work within a multidisciplinary team including nurses, AHPS and consultants in order to optimise the health and recovery of our patients. As a Physiotherapist you will: Deliver high quality, effective clinical care. The Person Essential Criteria: Have a BSc in Physiotherapy or equivalent, you’ll be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP). Minimum of 3 years post-graduate experience in an NHS Hospital/Private Hospital or an equivalent setting, demonstrating thorough experience in both MSK Outpatients and Inpatient Orthopaedics. Demonstrate evidence of further professional training and continual professional development, reflecting your desire to develop as a practitioner. Be a confident communicator with the ability to engage effectively with the general public and other healthcare professionals. Be a competent and confident IT user with strong organisation skills to use our electronic documentation system. Have the ability to prioritise and deal with your varied workload in an effective and timely manner. Take part in our weekend rota treating post-operative ward patients. Share our values.
