Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed Ward Manager to work in an exceptional mental health service based in Gosport, Hampshire. The service specializes in rehabilitation and recovery for males with mental illnesses and complex needs, often accompanied by challenging behaviors.
To be considered, you must be a qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Coordinating the quality and management of nursing and patient care, and the clinical environment.
2. Participating fully with the multidisciplinary team, undertaking direct patient care, and managing clinical services within a ward to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
3. Providing supervision and support to staff, and aiding in their development and progression.
Preferred skills and experience:
* Interest in quality improvement and patient-centered care.
* Inpatient experience.
* Strong leadership skills.
* Role model qualities to motivate the team.
* Positive, can-do attitude.
Salary & Benefits
The successful candidate will receive a salary of £42,668 – £48,393 per annum. This is a permanent, full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. Benefits include:
