We are currently recruiting for a Full time Reception Supervisor to join our team at DoubleTree by Hilton Manchester Airport. This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, 5 out of 7 days including evenings and weekends.
What will I be doing?
Be the face of our hotel and ensure a memorable reception experience for our Guests.
Always provide a high level of customer service
Inform guests about hotel room categories, room rates, packages, promotions, and other hotel facilities.
Maximize room occupancy and use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities.
Process all guest check-ins, verifying guest identity, form of payment, assigning room, and activating/issuing room key
Verify guests Hilton Honors number and ensure that this is correctly recorded on their reservation. If guest is not a Hilton Honors member, ensure that they are invited to enroll, and benefits are clearly explained
Follow company policies and procedures, report accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to manager
Manage and supervise the daily operations of the hotel reception, ensuring high standards are met.
Provide guidance and support to the reception team, ensuring they are trained and motivated to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth guest experiences, including room reservations, housekeeping, and maintenance.
Handle guest complaints and inquiries, resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
Ensure accurate billing and payment procedures are followed.
Monitor and manage the hotel's online reputation by responding to guest reviews and feedback.
Coach and train other team members about brand standards and how to deliver them
Communicate with other departments to create an excellent level of service for all guests
Trained to undertake duty manager shifts, as and when required
As a Reception Supervisor you will work 5 days per week, including, weekends and bank holidays.
