Experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer. This is a permanent position that starts immediately working for a large manufacturing company in Digbeth Birmingham. Salary The job pays up to £22 p/h for a basic week of 37 hrs, plus there is plenty of overtime available. A full driving license is needed for this role as there is occasional travel between sites. Job purpose: Electrical Maintenance Inspecting machinery and equipment. Assisting in the installation of new machinery and equipment. Ability to read schematic diagrams Plc trained is useful Maintaining tools and equipment on the site. Carrying out electrical and mechanical maintenance work to 18th edition. Building Services Responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the building using contractors. Conducting and completing routine inspections and organising emergency repairs. Completing general and small building repairs on site. Basic plumbing, welding, carpentry experience is very useful. Liaising and supporting any contractors on site. Being on call and able to attend site in the event of an emergency. Other Occasional driving between sites Experienced of drving forklifts, and or mobile elevated platforms very useful. Experienced of using an ERP system, excel and word very useful Part of the team that ensures the building is checked, opened and locked up correctly and securely Experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer Hours The hours of work are 7.00pm to 3.30pm Monday to Thursday and 7.00am to 12.00 pm on Friday. There is plenty of overtime available with this role.
