Are you an aspiring accountant looking to grow your career? We're seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Accountant to join the Finance team of a leading manufacturing business based in West London
Reporting to the Head of Finance
, reporting directly to the Head of Finance, Accounting & IT. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professional development.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Processing: Record payments, receipts, and daily transactions in SAP ERP (FICO module)
Ledger Maintenance: Keep bank ledgers up to date and perform monthly bank reconciliations
Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process AP invoices (purchases & OPEX) and manage cash collection activities
Master Data Management: Maintain accurate records for products, vendors, and customers
Month-End & Reporting: Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings and prepare balance sheet & P&L variance analysis
Revenue & Intercompany Reconciliation: Ensure accurate revenue recognition and reconcile intercompany balances
Cash & Credit Management: Monitor weekly cash positions, prepare payment runs, and manage credit control & outstanding balancesAdditional Responsibilities
Support projects led by the GL Accountant
Participate in finance team meetings and collaborate across departments
Provide prompt and professional responses to accounting queriesWhat We're Looking For
Part-qualified (ACCA / CIMA)
3-5 years of accounting & finance experience
Strong knowledge of SAP ERP (FICO module) and advanced Excel skills
Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive
Strong communication & interpersonal skills, thriving in a multicultural team
