Our work is varied and vital, but we never lose sight of our people. Their skills, aspirations, and growth mean as much as the mission we're on.
A positive decision maker with the ability to deliver highly effective joinery and carpentry workshop operations, combining traditional machining methods with modern CNC technology. Now you’re ready to apply your skills and expertise to projects for our global organisation.
Providing a world-class service. Protecting the UK’s security interests. It all matters.
Design, develop and deliver bespoke products for our global customers.
In this important role, you’ll focus on delivering highly effective, day-to-day workshop operations. This includes producing packing crates for equipment through to high-quality joinery. Responsibilities involve liaising with stakeholders, ordering materials and equipment, and the design, manufacture, construction, and cost recovery of high-quality bespoke products that meet our customers’ needs. You’ll also carry out the planned and preventative maintenance of workshop machinery, ensuring operational Health and Safety in the workshop, using traditional woodworking techniques, and developing your skills with CNC router technology. Use all your expertise to help keep our machinery and workshops safe.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need a Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience in carpentry and joinery, a comprehensive understanding of workshop Health and Safety, and experience in the safe use, operation, and basic maintenance of workshop machinery. It’s vital to have hands-on knowledge of spindle moulders, planers, thicknessers, tenoners, table saws, crosscuts, wall saws, and other workshop equipment. Every single colleague must be security cleared before joining us. If you’re successful in your application, we’ll ask you to undergo our vetting process to achieve Developed Vetting (DV) clearance.
