We are looking for a highly organised Administrative Assistant to join the School of Science, Engineering and Environment (SEE) to provide administrative support the delivery of our research, innovation and Knowledge Exchange activities.As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide direct administrative support to Research leaders (Research Centre / Group leads, School Research Development Team and/or Postgraduate Directors) on every day or strategic tasks such as organising project meetings, tracking, and communicating information, sharing essential documents with project partners, taking minutes, or setting and monitoring routine project tasks undertaken by other team members.You will have previous experience of working in a busy customer-focussed environment and preparing and analysing research information accurately and methodically. With strong communications skills, you will have an ability to plan, prioritise and work independently with minimal supervision and to deadlines. You will have excellent numeracy skills and confidence in handling and understanding figures.This role is ideal for a professional who enjoys problem-solving, managing complex tasks, and supporting impactful projects.
