Are you an organised and enthusiastic individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment? MPLOY are seeking a Sales Administrator to be the glue that holds the sales department together at a family-owned Timber Supplier in South Somerset.
As a Sales Administrator, you will be responsible for a variety of important tasks, including:
1. Responding to customer requests for price and availability of products and designs, through telephone, email, and in-person interactions
2. Taking ownership of incoming calls and ensuring appropriate responses
3. Processing sales orders and liaising with customers
4. Calling known customers and prospects to book site visits for the sales team
5. Preparing basic quotations
6. Organising samples to be sent to customers
7. Completing other office administrative duties as needed
The successful candidate will possess the following qualities:
8. Strong organisational skills with an ability to prioritise and multitask
9. Excellent telephone and interpersonal skills
10. Positive attitude with a self-starter mentality
11. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
12. Working knowledge of ERP type systems preferred (Epicor) (desirable but not essential as comprehensive training will be provided)
