If so, we have a fantastic opportunity to join our leading, well-respected water technologies company, where you will play a pivotal role in providing our customers with best-in-class quality service, focusing on the Pharmaceutical market. Your responsibilities will include on-site corrective/preventive maintenance for customer water treatment equipment, including equipment swap outs and emergency response. Once fully trained and competent, you will be required to carry out commissioning work on standard equipment and provide after-sales technical and commercial support. Additionally, you will complete risk assessments, work reports, activity reports, and other documentation. You will also be expected to go on the 'On Call Rota' once fully trained.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain good working relationships with customers.
2. Observe, abide by and enforce the Company’s and client’s Health & Safety policies.
3. Provide on-site corrective/preventive maintenance and after-sales technical and commercial support.
4. Carry out commissioning work.
5. Timely completion and submission of risk assessments, work reports, time sheets, and all other documentation.
6. Complete site tasks and activities as required.
7. Propose and undertake any relevant training approved by your line manager.
8. Gather site information and compile site log-books for customers, maintain and audit.
General Requirements:
1. NVQ or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering or similar, or working towards it.
2. Experience in the water treatment industry is an advantage but not essential.
3. Knowledge of the Pharmaceutical market is desirable.
4. A full UK driving licence is required.
5. Good communication skills, punctual, presentable, and willing to learn and develop.
6. Knowledge and experience of the company products, applications, and markets is desirable.
7. Passionate about providing first-class service to our customers.
8. Able to handle challenging conversations with customers and find resolutions.
9. Strong communication skills both verbally and in writing, with the versatility to communicate clearly at all levels.
10. Demonstrable experience of building strong working relationships both internally and externally.
11. A good level of IT competency.
12. Able to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks.
