Your mission at LINDAL
This role involves operating toolroom machinery, interpreting technical drawings, and assembling and repairing moulds.
Responsible for the maintenance, changes, and repairs of plastic injection mould tools.
* Repair and maintain mould tools.
* Attend breakdowns, identify faults, problem-solve issues, and address them with minimal downtime to aid production.
* Estimate the length of time required to complete a job.
* Ensure all work is undertaken to a high-quality standard and adheres to all quality standard regulations.
* Ensure company targets are met in respect of quality and efficiency.
* Manufacture new tooling and ancillary spares to support production activity.
* Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance on mould tools.
* Carry out scheduled tool version changes.
* Be actively involved in improvement activities to support the achievement of departmental and company objectives.
Your profile
* Knowledge of measurement and build processes of injection moulding tools.
* Understanding of service scheduling.
* Understanding of engineering drawings.
* Understanding manufacturing processes.
* Ability to work in a diverse and dynamic environment.
* Planning and prioritising activities.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work well with all levels of management and support staff.
* Ability to multi-task.
Desirable
* CNC, CAD/CAM experience.
* Experience with Microsoft applications.
