Job Description
We are looking for a Repair Technician to join our experienced team. Reporting to the ERC Workshop Supervisor, you will work on a range of industrial equipment at our Site in Whitehall, Milton Keynes.
Your Responsibilities:
1. Extensive fault diagnostic knowledge, down to component level with good soldering and SMT skills.
2. Undertake product rework modifications as needed by our Business.
3. Review test procedures and forward amendments to relevant body.
4. Work closely with your Workshop Supervisor, ensuring that they are kept up to date with delays or other potential problems likely to adversely affect production goals.
5. Assist when required with other special responsibilities and projects.
6. Complete all documentation, paper or electronic relevant to the equipment repaired.
7. Actively seek out and participate in both formal and informal training and development covering both technical and personal development.
8. Ensure good housekeeping standards are applied and sustained.
9. Maintain own safety and the safety of all others.
10. Comply with the ISO 9001 Quality Management System, ISO 14001 Environmental Management System and OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System.
11. Perform other tasks assigned by the manager from time to time in relation to your skills and abilities.
The Preferred - You Will Have:
1. SAP knowledge is preferred, but not essential as training will be provided.
2. Experience with Microsoft Packages.
3. O-level, CSE or GCSE (or equivalent qualifications) – Math's and English required.
