Teaching Personnel are working with a vibrant and inclusive primary school, dedicated to fostering a nurturing and engaging learning environment and committed to meeting the diverse needs of students who are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to join their team and provide tailored support to children with a range of learning difficulties and disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Support children with SEN on a 1:1 or small group basis in the classroom and during extracurricular activities.
Assist the class teacher in implementing individualized learning plans (IEPs) and adapting resources to meet the needs of students.
Foster an inclusive, supportive, and engaging classroom environment.
Provide emotional and behavioral support to help students thrive.
Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to the class teacher and SENCO.
Assist with the delivery of interventions and activities that promote student development.
About You:
Experienced or eager to learn in working with children with special educational needs.
Patient, empathetic, and caring, with a strong desire to make a positive impact on children's lives.
Proactive and able to adapt to the individual needs of each child.
Strong communicators, able to build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to work collaboratively within a team.
Qualifications and Experience:
Previous experience working with children with special educational needs (preferred, but not essential).
A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or similar) is desirable, but not essential.
A genuine interest in supporting children with additional needs and a commitment to professional development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
