Are you an experienced Digital Project Manager with a track record of delivering across a broad range of digital technologies, platforms and channels? Do you have a familiarity with technical terms and concepts; and a curiosity for learning new technologies? Do you enjoy working in a collaborative environment and leveraging your communication skills to build strong relationships?
At William Reed, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Digital Project Manager responsible for full end-to-end project management of digital applications from the initial brief through to deployment and transition to Support Desk. You will work collaboratively across internal teams and external suppliers to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and in budget.
What you’ll be doing:
1. Overseeing the full lifecycle of digital projects, from initial brief through to deployment and transition to the Support Desk. Ensuring all deliverables align with business objectives and are completed on time and within budget.
2. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Business Product Owners and Senior Stakeholders to define project plans, scope, requirements and timelines.
3. Organising internal resources for the project such as team member assignments, allocations and durations.
4. Researching and promoting the best product within the defined remit of the project.
5. Regularly updating stakeholders on project progress, risks, and issues, maintaining clear communication and swiftly addressing any roadblocks.
6. Acting as a bridge between various departments, ensuring alignment and clear communication between the Digital Delivery team and the wider business.
7. Managing both internal teams and external suppliers, ensuring seamless collaboration and progress tracking.
8. Participating in continuous improvement efforts, handling software configuration and site set-up tasks (training provided).
Requirements
What you’ll need:
1. Strong experience of delivering digital projects such as CMS implementations, Ad Serving set up, e-Commerce, Lead Generation, Subscriptions Management platform integrations, Analytics.
2. Proficient in technical language and concepts, with a background in managing relationships with technical suppliers.
3. A highly effective communicator with strong interpersonal and leadership skills, capable of confidently managing senior stakeholder relationships, handling scope, and managing expectations while driving changes to workflows.
4. Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
5. Highly adaptable, self-driven, and resilient, accustomed to working within agile frameworks.
6. Adept in Kanban and Scrum processes.
7. Proficiency in a project management software (Jira & Tempo) would be desirable but is not essential.
8. Experience working within the media and publishing industry would be advantageous but not essential.
9. Experience of the following solutions will be advantageous: Content Management Platforms (Arc XP, Webvision); Access and Entitlement (Piano, Advance); Advertising (Google Ad Manager, SmartAdServer); Analytics (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics); Adobe Target, Adobe Campaign, Marketo, Media Services (Megaphone, JW Player Cloud, PageSuite, Shorthand), miso.ai
