Business Leader - Crematoria 38.33 Hours per week Location: Grantham Crematorium, Grantham. This role would suit someone who: Has previous experience in management, supervision, or team leadership. Is confident in all aspects of people management, including conducting one-to-ones, annual reviews, disciplinaries, and managing holiday rotas. Leads by example, protecting the brand through effective problem-solving and process management while fostering team growth. Can influence, build, and maintain strong, long-term relationships with stakeholders and within the local community. Is an agile, well-organised, and motivational leader who engages, develops, and inspires individuals to achieve results. Possesses strong commercial acumen, understanding the importance of pricing, products, promotions, and brand profitability. Holds a Full UK Manual Driving License, with occasional travel required for this role. Here is what a typical day could look like with us: Oversee all sites associated with the Crematorium (i.e., offices, cemeteries, gardens of remembrance, crematorium chapels), ensuring operational efficiency at the front and back of house. Carefully monitoring a designated budget ensures that value for money is achieved in all circumstances through monitoring and control of expenditure. Continuously embedding a positive, engaging, and inclusive working environment where collaboration is key. Identifying ways to embed your brand within the local community and reviewing ways to continuously improve the services we provide and understand your wider market. Collaborate with your wider teams to improve the development of memorials and all on-site buildings that contribute to creating a better experience for our clients.
