Grounds Maintenance Operative Location: Templepatrick, Northern Ireland Salary: From £11,44 per hour Contract type: Permanent Working hours: Full time About the role Working with a great team, you will be responsible for a range of activities from grass cutting, strimming, hedge pruning and flower bed maintenance for clients across the Northern Ireland Housing Executive. Requirements A full valid UK driving licence & B+E (towing trailers) will be mandatory. Prior experience in Grounds Maintenance, using hand & mechanical tools, with a can-do attitude and safety-conscious mindset. Willingness to learn and work well in a team. Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions. PA1 and PA6 licences are an advantage but not essential. Responsibilities Grass Cutting: Regularly cut grass areas to maintain an even height and healthy appearance. Weed Control: Identify and eliminate weeds using appropriate methods and tools to promote healthy plant growth. General Landscape Maintenance: Assist with the care and maintenance of gardens, flower beds, and other landscaped areas. Litter and Debris Removal: Keep outdoor areas free from litter and debris to ensure a clean environment. Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and care for tools and equipment used in grounds maintenance tasks. Why join us?
