As global regulations evolve—especially with the EU Battery Passport mandate by 2027—our cutting-edge platform empowers businesses to stay compliant while fostering sustainability.
To drive adoption and market expansion, we are looking for a Sales Director who will spearhead our B2B sales strategy, forge key partnerships, and establish Technovative Solutions as a leader in the battery technology space.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Strategy & Business Growth
• Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy for the Digital Battery Passport.
• Identify and engage key customers, including battery manufacturers, EV automakers, recycling companies, and regulatory bodies.
• Lead enterprise sales efforts, negotiating contracts, and closing high-value deals.
• Drive revenue growth and meet sales performance targets through a consultative approach.
2. Market Development & Partnerships
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with automotive OEMs, battery suppliers, recyclers, and policymakers.
• Collaborate with industry associations and sustainability organizations to promote adoption.
• Develop channel partnerships to accelerate market penetration.
3. Regulatory & Compliance Alignment
• Stay ahead of EU Battery Passport regulations, ensuring sales messaging aligns with compliance and ESG requirements.
• Position Technovative Solutions as a key player in sustainability reporting, lifecycle assessment (LCA), and traceability.
• Educate customers on how the Digital Battery Passport streamlines compliance and supports carbon footprint reduction.
4. Collaboration with Product & Technology Teams
• Provide market insights and customer feedback to influence product development.
• Work with technical teams to ensure seamless integration with supply chain platforms, ERP systems, and regulatory databases.
• Help define pricing models, user onboarding processes, and feature enhancements.
• Use CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) to track sales pipeline and performance.
• Analyze market trends and customer needs to refine sales tactics.
• Report on key sales metrics and revenue forecasts to executive leadership.
Qualifications & Experience
Must-Have:
• 10+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in SaaS, automotive, battery technology, or sustainability.
• Strong knowledge of battery regulations (EU Battery Passport, ESG, circular economy, carbon footprint reporting).
• Proven track record of closing enterprise deals and managing key partnerships.
• Experience working with battery manufacturers, EV companies, recycling firms, and regulatory agencies.
• Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-evolving regulatory and tech-driven market.
Nice-to-Have:
• Familiarity with blockchain, traceability solutions, or sustainability software.
• Experience in supply chain technology, ERP, or compliance solutions.
• Background in automotive industry sales, lifecycle assessment (LCA), or digital product passports.
