About the Role: Position: Teaching Assistant (2:1 Support) Location: Blyth Employment Type: Full-time Start Date: ASAP Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Key Responsibilities: Provide tailored 2:1 support to students, ensuring they are engaged and progressing in their learning. Assist in delivering lesson plans, adapting materials to meet individual learning needs. Support students with additional needs, promoting confidence and independence. Work closely with teachers, SEN staff, and other professionals to create an inclusive learning environment. Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. Requirements: Previous experience working with children, ideally in an educational setting. A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential). Experience supporting students with SEN or additional learning needs (preferred). A proactive, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting student development.
