Our NHS client based in Nottingham has an exciting opportunity for a Patient Services Receptionist to manage their Urgent Treatment Centre waiting room, starting as soon as possible We have a number of opportunities available, which are looking to start as soon as possible on a temporary on-going basis. There is also an opportunity to be offered a permanent contract, depending upon performance and needs of the business. Please note that the Urgent Treatment Centre is a 24/7 operation and so you will be given a variety of shifts on a rota basis, across 7 days and so weekend working could be involved. The shifts will be a mixture of 08:00-16:00, 16:00-00:00 and 00:00-08:00. The pay rate for the role is £12.11, but we also offer un-social enhancements for nights, weekends etc). Duties of the role will include:- Provide a welcoming and professional reception service for patients Ensure patients are checked in and relevant information is captured accurately using the SystmOne system for onward transmission to the clinical team Manage patient flow in the waiting area, ensuring a calm and organised environment Oversee patients in waiting areas and escalate any concerns Maintain standards in patient facing areas Providing administrative support to the Urgent Treatment Centre as required To be considered for the role you should have previous reception experience and preferably experience working within a medical environment. Excellent IT skills and administrative proficiency will be required and preferably, experience using SystmOne. A DBS check will also be required for this post.
