Teaching Personnel are currently working with a Secondary school based in Stoke seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant starting after Easter. The school are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about the academic and social development of young students.
About the role:
* Immediate start after Easter
* Opportunity to earn £90-£110 per day (dependent on experience)
* School is in a great location with excellent transport links between Congleton and Macclesfield
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work 1-1 and in small groups with individuals who require additional behavioural and academic support. You will work closely with the class teacher to create and implement individualised learning plans, ensuring the curriculum is accessible for all learning needs. Day-to-day, you will support the class teacher in ensuring lessons run smoothly and the school’s behaviour policies are followed.
What we’re looking for:
* Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable for this role
* Experience working within a school is necessary for this role
* Genuine passion and enthusiasm for the development of young students
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Safeguarding training (can be done through Teaching Personnel)
To be considered for this role, applicants must also have a DBS registered on the update service or be willing to apply for one upon registering with Teaching Personnel.
