The role: The full-time role (Monday to Thursday), reporting to the CEO, is to lead the planning, development and delivery of software products. To thrive in the changing and fast-paced nature of a tech start-up, you will need to be adaptable, able to pivot quickly and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Understanding the technology and products we offer is critical - you should be able to grasp complex technical concepts and communicate them effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences. Key competencies for this role are: Demonstrated success of delivering 2 products from inception to market success in the B2B SAAS sector Experience of working in SME, start-up companies Core knowledge of key product-related functions, including product marketing and sales processes Agile development process experience Software development and programming skills in Python also a benefit. Design & implement the overall product strategy & roadmap: Working with the leadership team, define the product strategy aligned to the company vision Create and maintain a product roadmap that supports the digiLab strategy and business objectives. Manage scoping and associated delivery timelines to maintain delivery schedule for MVPs and iterations Contribute to the short- and long-term strategy definition: Support and contribute to the definition and implementation of a comprehensive go-to-market strategy, including defining the product proposition; determining the positioning of the product in the market; developing a pricing strategy that reflects the product value; identifying the most effective distribution channels and developing a comprehensive plan for product launch. Oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle: Execute the roadmaps to support product development and software engineering teams to deliver on release targets. Continuously review the product development lifecycle, and refine & establish effective Product Management tools, systems & processes in line with industry practice. Develop & maintain our product KPI metrics to measure & guide product success. Build and lead a high-performing Product team: Develop the hiring plan for the Product team and contribute to the hiring process for new Product team members Manage the Product team, including setting objectives, annual performance reviews, work allocations, and individual training and development. Lead the Product teams work on design & specification of new products, features and functionalities, and the work to support Product Development in delivering those solutions. Support Product Marketing: Help to develop and execute comprehensive product marketing strategies aligned with company goals and objectives Contribute to the definition of clear and compelling value propositions for digiLabs products (primarily twinLab) and contribute to the creation of high-quality marketing material Advise on go-to-market strategies for new product features and updates, and assist with planning and execution of product launches.
