We are recruiting for a Care Support Assistant to support a young boy at school and within his home environment.
You will be paid £15.92 per hour after training completed (provided during recruitment).
Part Time, Days based in Garstang, Preston.
22.5 hours per week to be delivered over 3 days. Shift times are 8.30am until 4pm.
Main duties of the job
Duties will include but are not limited to:
1. Personal care to be given as and when required throughout the school day.
2. Safety Checks to be completed.
3. Perform daily organisational/cleaning tasks for topping up equipment within the adapted room located within school.
4. Ensuring personal needs are met such as fluid intake and food intake.
5. Be involved within the school environment and school day.
6. Working alongside a teaching assistant within school, being fully responsible for maintaining health needs.
Support will be provided at school during term time and at home during school holidays.

Your responsibilities as our Care Support Assistant will include: Assisting and supporting vulnerable clients to enable them to live the life they choose (where possible) to promote their independence. Your role will include companionship, supporting with housework, running errands and supporting with preparing and cooking meals. Administering medication may be required.
Skills and Experience required of our Care Support Assistant:
You are required to have good communication skills and have a desire to care for others. Possessing a UK full driving license and having some previous experience would be advantageous.
