An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Repack Department. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is open-minded, proactive, and looking to assist with taking the repack operation to the next level.
This role requires a progressive thinker that acts at the right time in the right manner with a passion for its people, delivery, and results.
The successful candidate for this role will report directly to the Repack Shift Manager.
Key Accountabilities and Competencies
1. Provide support to the Repack Management Team to ensure a consistent, smooth, and efficient Repack operation.
2. Develop a motivated team through encouragement of open and proactive communication.
3. Management of a team including absence, 1-2-1, and performance monitoring.
4. Ensure company procedures are adhered to and changes are effectively communicated and implemented.
5. Be responsible for all health and safety aspects and ensure safe systems of work are always adhered to.
6. Encourage positive and constructive relationships with onsite union representatives.
7. Assist Repack Shift Managers in achieving agreed budgetary and service levels.
8. Ensure maximum use of resources in a cost-effective manner.
9. Contribute towards the improvement of processes and methods of onsite practices.
10. Undertake such duties as may be reasonably required for the effective operation of the Repack function.
