We currently have a great opportunity to join East Suffolk Council as an Information Systems Administrator for a fixed term period of one year. The role: We are looking for an individual to be the lead System Administrator on key corporate business systems - providing an excellent standard of technical systems administration, configuration and development, taking pride and initiative in ensuring the systems upon which the organisation’s services depend are running to the highest standards possible. All investigation, configuration and implementation of systems are to be completed to the satisfaction of service/end user needs and to meet legislative requirements of services. The role entails a significant contribution towards meeting the strategic objectives and key performance indicators of the organisation as a whole and our trading company, East Suffolk Services Ltd. What you will need: You will have excellent knowledge relating to the administration of business systems and knowledge of working with a wide range of corporate information systems. You will be competent in the development and implementation of business systems and have excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of contacts. If you have demonstrable experience of working as a ICT system administrator and a commitment to your own development of administering local government business systems, this is a great opportunity to be based in a council environment for a fixed term period.
