Job Summary:
Due to planned growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a well-motivated and forward-thinking Clinic Manager to join the Proactive family and lead our new clinic in Manchester. As Clinic Manager, the post holder will lead the management and support the ongoing development of the clinic, as well as managing their own complex traumatic cases.
Role and Responsibilities Include:
* Day-to-day management of the clinic
* Building and maintaining relationships with case managers, lawyers and insurers
* Training and presenting to case managers, lawyers and insurers
* Management of complex traumatic patients
* Working to the highest standard with responsibility for the complete process of patient care
* Casting and rectifying all levels of upper and lower limb amputation
* Participation as a key member within the MDT
* Liaising with case managers, lawyers and insurers about patient care
* Expert witness report preparation for Medico-Legal Cases
* Supporting marketing and business development opportunities
* Line management of clinical, technical and administrative roles.
Required Qualifications and Experience Include:
* Certified Prosthetist; HND Prosthetics/BSc Prosthetics
* Knowledge and experience of the latest prosthetic products and techniques
* Excellent organisational skills
* Management experience preferable but not essential
* An advanced understanding of socket design and experience in fitting active users
* Competence in practical aspects of socket fabrication and the manufacture of prostheses
* Ability to communicate and present both formally and informally to healthcare professionals and lawyers
* HCPC registered
