On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced 1st/2nd Line Support Engineer to take responsibility for complex technical situations while offering support to end users with simpler issues who may be less confident with IT. We are looking for an individual who is happy to work independently, managing their own work, as well as working as part of a team.
This is a very hands-on role, where you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the IT infrastructure in the Norwich office and assisting with any extra support across remote sites, general office staff, and people working from home.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
1. Excellent verbal, written communication, and problem-solving skills.
2. An ability to multi-task and prioritise tasks.
3. Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 products including SharePoint and Azure AD.
4. Knowledge of Endpoint Manager solutions.
5. Excellent knowledge of Windows Server including AD, GPO Administration.
6. Working knowledge of antivirus solutions.
7. Good security practices including management of software updates and patching.
8. Working knowledge of PC/Mac hardware, software, printers, and phones.
9. Experience working with 3rd party suppliers and vendors.
Although some of this work can be carried out remotely, you will also be required to work in the Norwich office the majority of the week.
