The Vacancy:
Purpose of the role:
Responsible for dealing directly with customer quality concerns and rejects and ensuring the containment and rapid turnaround of customer complaints.
Duties and responsibilities:
* The initial investigation, containment of stock and Work-in-Progress of customer-reported non-conforming product concerns and issuing RMAs.
* Communicating to the customer within 24 hours of receipt of returned product, reporting initial findings and containment activity.
* Responsible for promotion of rapid determinations of returned product and interacting with all Departments & MEQA for 5Y/8D CAPA actions and continual improvement of processes ensuring robust and effective closure of customers’ concerns.
* Responsible for the FRACAS Database, managing FRACAS closure, ensuring that Investigator activity is correctly recorded with appropriate supporting evidence then forwarded to the customer.
Person Specification:
Experience:
* Experience conducting internal audits to AS9100 standard.
* Experience of manufacturing, with the ability to understand manufacturing processes and problem solve.
Technical:
* Metrology knowledge using Verniers, Micrometers, and DTIs.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Skills and Competencies:
* High levels of engineering acuity, combined with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to foster relationships with customers and internal departments.
* PC literacy, including Microsoft Office packages, is important and this role will be responsible for project managing the introduction and development of the latest digital Failure Reporting & Corrective Action System.
