Job Title: Electrical Maintenance and Support Expert
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance and Support Expert to join our team at Nine Twenty Engineering & Manufacturing in Dumbarton, Scotland.
Shift: Double Day Shift
Week 1: Monday – Thursday 0600-1400; Friday 0600-1300
Week 2: Monday – Thursday 1345-2330
About the Role
This is a key role supporting operations in achieving performance levels in bottling machinery and equipment. As part of this role, you will be working as part of a 2-person team to provide electrical response and support to the bottling teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting Operations:
o You will be responsible for providing electrical response and support to the bottling teams during production time.
o You could also be involved in line cover and mechanical support to minimize setup and breakdown losses during production time.
* Maintenance:
o To maintain and improve the hall equipment performance to agreed targets, ensuring that all electrical systems are running efficiently.
o Ensure planned preventative maintenance for all electrical systems is completed according to the CMMS schedule.
* Continuous Improvement:
o Participate in all continuous improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to optimize performance.
o Initiate, implement, and follow up on A3 projects in a continuous improvement environment.
* Collaboration:
o Provide administrative support to the team through effective written and verbal communication.
o Ensure continuity of work priorities and information flow during on-shift.
Requirements
* Hold recognized trade qualification and be qualified to HNC level with qualifications in Electrical/PLC/Automation.
* Proven experience and knowledge of PLC/Automation, as well as, electrical controls and programming skills.
* Ability to develop new skills and willingness to train others.
* Experienced in operating business process computerized systems i.e. PLC programming software (Allan Bradley/Siemens).
* Ability to show effective Root Cause Analysis and Continuous Improvement skills.
