We are currently working in partnership with social housing provider based in Suffolk, who are looking to appoint a Property Services Officer (Voids).
This will be a full-time position, on a temporary contract for a minimum of three months.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience of co-ordinating void processes within social housing.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
* Managing and co-ordinating empty homes (void properties) from pre-ready to let through to initial tenant hand-back and completion stage
* Working with the Property Services team to ensure void properties are to standard for re-letting
* Liaising with contractors, landlords, support teams and residents regarding any works required or services
* Managing expectations with communication with residents, as well as internal and external stakeholders
* Conducting basic housing repairs and odd-jobs as required, including filling holes, painting, building and moving furniture, cleaning and removals etc.
* Conducting general administrative duties surrounding void properties
Experience & skills required:
* Previous track record of coordinating void properties within social housing
* Ability to conduct basic repairs and odd-jobs
* Experience of conducting administrative duties to a high standard
* Strong communication skills
Working hours:
* 37.5 hours per week
* Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
