Job Description
Job purpose
1. Responsibility for & ownership of onward delivery processes
2. Ensuring deliveries are completed on time
3. Providing business updates on shipments to support revenue recognition
4. Managing supporting shipping and banking documentation
5. Managing Ad hoc shipments for manufacturing
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
6. Booking of deliveries according to customer & revenue requirements
7. Ensuring all shipments are commercially clear & compliant with export controls
8. Updating weekly report on period’s shipments
9. Letters of Credit management
10. Application of Chamber of Commerce documents
11. Manage large OTC shipments
12. Ad hoc support to other team members
Qualifications
Key Experience and Competencies (includes skills)
13. Excellent Organisation skills
14. Understanding of product shipment procedures including awareness of incoterms
15. Knowledge of Letters of Credit (not essential but preferred).
16. Keenness to learn and develop new skills
17. Sound analytical and interpersonal skills, the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation.
18. A good demonstration of prioritisation within a multi-function role.
19. Strong communication skills, internally and externally, with the ability to communicate financial information to non-financial departments.
20. A high standard of computer literacy
21. Excel/Word advance knowledge (VLOOKUP’s essential)
