Sellick Partnership is currently assisting multiple Public Sector organisations with the recruitment of a Procurement Officer. These are permanent opportunities paying between £33,000 - £40,000 depending on experience.
Responsibilities of the Procurement Officer include:
Provide sound procurement advice and excellent customer service
Work with stakeholders to draft tender packs to ensure contracts placed achieve value for money, cost savings and improved service levels
Provide an effective procurement service by procuring contracts for goods, services and works in line with Company policy and all relevant UK legislation
Providing advice to the Procurement Manager regarding service improvements
The ideal candidate will have:
Strong public sector procurement experience
A good understanding of contracts management
Excellent communication skills
