Job: Administrator (HR & Payroll) NOT HYBRID Location: Midsomer Norton Hours: Monday to Friday (F/T is 34.5hrs pw BUT P/T hours will be considered for the ideal candidate, spread over 5 days ONLY) Salary: £26kpa (Pro-Rata for P/T) Contract: Temp to Perm This role offers a diverse range of responsibilities, encompassing general office support and administrative tasks. The perfect candidate should possess prior experience in HR Support/Payroll and General Administration. Effective interpersonal skills are essential for seamless interaction with colleagues across various hierarchical levels. Proficiency in fundamental Microsoft Office tools, such as Excel, is a prerequisite, though advanced expertise is not mandatory. Main responsibilities and duties: Ensuring accurate HR record-keeping by inputting new employee details and HR updates into local and Group HR systems. Collating and managing weekly overtime, sickness, new starters/leavers data for payroll processing, meeting deadlines set by the payroll procedure. Daily monitoring of employee clock-in reports, verifying hours worked, and adjusting as needed. Supporting recruitment efforts by advertising roles, handling applications, coordinating with hiring managers, and assisting in interview note-taking. Administering onboarding tasks such as issuing offer letters, contracts, and organizing induction programs for new hires. Regularly checking driving licenses, organising training sessions, and maintaining training records. Managing sickness absence records, distributing return-to-work forms, and generating monthly absence reports. Compiling monthly newsletters from the Employee Assistance Programme provider. Contributing to employee welfare initiatives and upholding the company's core values. Arranging logistics like lunches, refreshments, and accommodations for visitors.
