In Foster Wales Conwy we are a team dedicated and passionate about providing the best quality foster carers to deliver the highest level of care to Conwy’s children. We undertake effective assessment and provide dedicated and direct support to foster carers in order to support children and young people to reach their potential.
Foster Wales Conwy is your Local Authority fostering service. We are part of Foster Wales, the national network of 22 Welsh Local Authority not-for-profit fostering services, all working together to build better futures for children in Wales.
We are fortunate to have this dedicated post specifically to focus on assessing general foster carers. You will be responsible for undertaking the thorough assessment of prospective foster carers, formulating a recommendation and presenting the completed assessment to the fostering panel.
You will be offered professional supervision and guidance, together with the offer of further training and development opportunities.
