Job description HCRG Staffing are recruiting for excellent health visitors in Essex to work with us within our clients on an ongoing basis. Job Overview The Health Visitor plays a vital role in promoting the health and wellbeing of families, particularly focusing on children under five years of age. This position involves working closely with parents and caregivers to provide support, guidance, and education on health-related matters. The Health Visitor will be responsible for assessing the needs of families and developing tailored care plans to ensure optimal health outcomes. Duties Conduct home visits to assess the health and development of children and their families. Develop and implement individual care plans based on assessments. Provide advice and support on a range of health issues, including nutrition, breastfeeding, immunisations, and child development. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for families. Maintain accurate records of visits, assessments, and interventions in accordance with organisational policies. Lead community health initiatives aimed at improving public health outcomes. Educate parents about available resources and services within the community. Monitor the progress of families and adapt care plans as necessary. Skills Strong time management skills to effectively prioritise tasks and manage caseloads. Excellent communication skills to engage with families and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Background in nursing or a related healthcare field is essential for providing informed care. Ability to develop comprehensive care plans tailored to individual family needs. Leadership skills to guide families through health challenges and advocate for their needs. Requirements Enhanced DBS Qualification Certificate Minimum 2 Years experience in the NHS Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: £32.00-£35.00 per hour Expected hours: 11 - 37.5 per week Benefits: Referral programme Schedule: Monday to Friday Licence/Certification: Driving Licence (preferred)
