Job Details Grade: 5A Hourly Rate: £13.70 - £14.83 Salary: £24,995.90 - £27,058.15 per annum Contract Duration: Two Posts - Temporary Secondment Cover until 31/03/2025 and 04/10/2026 Hours: 35.00 Please note: Interviews to take place week commencing 18/11/2024 Role Purpose We have an exciting opportunity for 2 highly motivated Customer Advisors to join our Customer Advice and Support Service based at the Hawick Contact Centre. The posts are full time, post 1 is temporary up to 31/03/2025. (although I cannot guarantee, there is a chance this will be extended). Post 2 is temporary up to 04/10/2026. You will provide advice and support to customers via telephone, email, live chat and face to face on a wide range of council services while delivering exceptional customer service. This role will suit you if you are a people person and a fast learner with excellent IT and customer service skills. Essential • At least 5 SCE Standard Grades at level 3 or above (or equivalent) including English. • Commitment and ability to achieve an appropriate level of Customer Service qualification or SVQ level 2.
