Major Recruitment's Technical Division are delighted to be working with their exclusive manufacturing and engineering client based in Rochdale assisting them with the recruitment of a Shipping Coordinator for their business.
The successful Shipping Coordinator will join the team and assist with administration and shipping duties.
This role is part-time, initially 2 days to work alongside the current office manager and not only assist but learn the role. This role is likely to increase to 4 days over time. The successful candidate will be expected to cover holidays within the office and will be paid overtime accordingly.
Key Responsibilities
Shipping goods via freight forwarders and different couriers.
Experience of LC shipments and the paperwork involved.
Sales invoicing.
Typing quotes.
Data input
Petty cash
General office admin
Skills and Experience
A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Time management and an ability to prioritise and plan work effectively.
Touch typing and clerical skills.
Previous experience of accountancy programs.
