Working in a team of 5 people (including the Supervisor) you will be responsible for the smooth running of the invoicing, administration and general account's function Job responsibilities of a Freight Billing Administrator: To invoice all jobs whilst following sales quotation confirmations or agreed rates for each client; based on the mode of transport used (air/ road/ ocean) Ensure accuracy to all costs and sales completed Reporting any lost shipments via relevant methods and highlighting any discrepancies to the supervisor Raising invoices to the client and sending to them by their preferred method for prompt payment (electronically or via a portal) The successful Freight Billing Administrator will have: The ability to work under pressure and in a time critical office environment A flexible attitude to working in a multi-modal environment Ensuring the department processes are upheld and client files are completed correctly Maintain a high level of customer service with the customers Build strong working relationships with operational and support departments Maintaining individual case queries and caseloads allocated Handling the courier department accounting Cargowise experience is advantageous This is an exciting permanent opportunity to work for a freight forwarder.
