CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a Mail Services Supervisor to join the team located in London.
About the Role
As a CBRE Mail Services Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising all aspects of the mailroom operations for a building or campus. This job is part of the Office Operations function. They are responsible for providing office support to a client, business function or individual contributor.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Daily supervision of all inbound deliveries/collections via Zone Manager.
2. Ensure all vehicles arriving in the loading bay, are correctly managed.
3. Supervision and follow up of the delivery of client mail & parcels, confirming that all deliveries have been successfully completed in line with documented procedures.
4. Registration of inbound receipts from off-site mail room, ensuring chain of custody records are correctly maintained.
5. Confirming that the closing off of chain of custody deliveries is completed as per procedure at the end of day.
6. Confirm that all daily tasks are completed without issue.
7. Resolve any issues related to daily activities or team members effectively.
8. Leads all team toolbox talks.
9. Participates in the development of training plans based on needs analysis, for each team member.
10. Provides direct training for all operative on any in-house systems, ensuring that all operatives are fully competent in their use.
11. Carries out mid & full year evaluations of performance.
12. Escalates any disciplinary issues up to the Logistics Manager, and provides direct input on any follow up disciplinary actions.
13. Carries out 3x per week site inspection utilising an inspection check list, and confirms no H&S risks are present in the working area.
14. Actions any risks found from H&S checks, immediately with the relevant team for resolution.
15. Follows up on any H&S check actions, to ensure any identified risks are mitigated efficiently.
16. Supports the development and implementation/reporting of KPI's.
